Dr. Blake Kline MD
Dr. Kline grew up in Clemson, South Carolina. He graduated with an undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science from Coastal Carolina University. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his internship and residency in anesthesiology at the medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Since graduating from residency, Dr. Kline has been Chief of Anesthesiology at two different hospitals. He was also the first anesthesiologist in South Carolina to perform anesthesia for robotic open heart surgery. For many years Dr. Kline practiced both anesthesiology and interventional pain management. In 2012, he decided to focus solely on interventional pain management. He joined Florence Neurosurgery and Spine at that time and was named one of the top 10 anesthesiologists in South Carolina in 2014 by vitals.com. In early 2015, Dr. Kline chose to move his practice to Conway, South Carolina due to his many area ties, as well as his love for the area and Coastal Carolina.
Chelsea Barnhill – Nurse
Is a South Carolina Native who lives in Marion with her husband and three children. A graduate of Marion County School of Practical Nursing, Chelsea brings 6 years of pain management nursing skills to the practice.
Lauren Butler – Practice Manager
Lauren grew up in Columbia, SC and has been a resident of Horry County now for over ten years. Lauren is a graduate of Allied Medical School with a certificate in Medical transcription and has more than ten years of accounting and customer service experience.
Ashleigh Hotaling, RN, BSN
Ashleigh graduated in 2007 from Florence Darlington Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in nursing. After becoming a Registered Nurse, she worked at her local hospital on the medical floor and eventually transferred into the Intensive Care Unit where she worked for 3 years. She then went to work in the Trauma Surgical Intensive Care Unit at McLeod Reginal Medical Center’s Level 2 Trauma Unit in Florence, SC. During this time she was purusing her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, began working with Dr. Kline January 2014, and completed her BSN in March 2015. Ashleigh will be returning to school to further her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has been accepted into the Nurse Practitioner Program at Chamberlain College of Nursing and will be staring in January 2016.
